Winter Handicap Race 5 15th Sept 2024
With the Bureau of Meteorology issuing a high wind warning for Moreton Bay, we had our B rigs ready. The forecasted strong southeasterly winds, however, shifted to the west. As usual, Manly Marina provided excellent shelter for those in port. This change resulted in light and variable winds across today’s course. Despite the unexpected conditions, both the IOM and DF65 fleets were well attended, and everyone enjoyed a great morning of sailing.
