Challenging sailing conditions – exceptionally light and shifty winds

A challenging Sunday on the Manly Marina. Poseidon really entertain himself, treating both fleets to light and variable winds with the odd gust thrown in. The Westerly winds created turbulent wind shifts across the course, we had yachts sailing on the same lay line, one on port and the other on starboard!

In the DF 65 fleet, Don sailed the day apparently oblivious of the conditions to come in a clear first. Across the DF fleet, six sailors had a first-place finish, with the score sheet showing only four points separating 3rd and 8th place.
