Summer Season Scratch Race 1 - 3rd Nov 2024
A large fleet of IOMs enjoyed another fantastic day of sailing at Manly marina. We had a gentle northeasterly breeze across the
course, providing perfect conditions.
There was a bit of confusion at the start of the day, as we had two yellow boats with the same sail number 99! Fortunately, we
quickly established that one was an IOM and the other a DF65!
Two IOM visitors excelled and dominated the podium spots. Despite being taken out at the top mark a few times, Russell managed to secure first place in the DF fleet.
Even with the large number of yachts on the water and a constrained course, the racing was professional, and everyone had a fun day.
